Jennette Irish-Glass
Orange City School District

Jennette Irish-Glass is the Director of Technology for the Orange City School District in Pepper Pike, Ohio, an award winning public school district consistently ranked among the top performing school districts in the State of Ohio.  Jennette began her career in education as a Technology Integration Specialist for Orange in 2002 and moved into her current position as Director in 2013.  Jennette received the National School Boards Association’s “20 to Watch” award in 2006 and the Ideastream (PBS/NPR) Betty Cope Award in 2015. Jennette is the co-founder of the NEOTIE Educational Conference, the Past-Chair of the Ideastream Advisory Council, Past-Communications Chair for the International Society for Technology in Education’s (ISTE) Online Learning Network, and current Secretary for the Ohio Chapter of CoSN.

Sean Whelan
Garfield Heights City Schools

Sean Whelan is the Director of Technology at Garfield Heights City Schools. He is a 25-year educator and has attained the CoSN Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL) Certification. In 1998, Sean started his career as a third-grade teacher holding multiple technology supplementals. He spent a year as a Technology Integration Specialist before moving into the position of Director of Technology, that he has held since 2014. For 4 years, he held the position of Director of Technology and Operations, overseeing technology, facilities, transportation and food service. This year, his position was split off from Operations to allow a greater focus on Cybersecurity, Online Curriculum and STEM initiatives. He was awarded the Betty Cope Award in 2018 from Ideastream. Sean loves the collaborative evolution of educational technology and has help facilitate multiple Ed Camps and conferences on the organizational end and as a presenter/facilitator.

John Rizzo
Shaker Heights City Schools

John Rizzo is the Executive Director of Technology for Shaker Heights City Schools. Shaker Heights is a first ring suburb just east of Cleveland, Ohio. John has been with Shaker since 2013 and leads the Shaker IT team on efforts ranging from one-to-one computing to student system support. He has both a Bachelor of Business Administration in MIS and a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Kent State University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Cybersecurity from Utica University.
